Tales of the Ravensdaughter has a new review on the oh-so-cool Fantasy site, Tellest.

Tellest is a fantasy world first conceived in the year 2000, by writer Michael DeAngelo.  What started as a brief profile for protagonist Kaos Kreegan quickly spiraled out of control and became a sprawling epic that spans countless stories, mediums and creators.

In 2014, Tellest began its first big push with the help of a Kickstarter campaign that launched a series of novellas into the world.  It also marked the first occasion where outside artists and storytellers were brought in to lend their hand to the ongoing building process of this fantasy world.

2016 and 2017 saw another set of novellas and novels introduced, and brought interesting new characters into the mix.  Pre-production also began on an upcoming tie-in tabletop card game called Quantum Quest that was met with tremendous approval at conventions and hobby shops.

Looking forward, Tellest is fully embracing their mantra: The World is in Your Hands.  With several projects in the works, the storytellers, designers, and artists are working to make sure this literary world is not only one worth taking a visit to, but one worth staying in.

Great heroes walk among the world of Tellest, a place of magic and splendor.  The strain is considered a blessing to some and a curse to others. With uncanny abilities, these heroes clash with one another, creating a schism that the planet hasn’t seen in centuries.

Tellest is a fictional fantasy universe that sprung to life in 2011 (some legends say that it was forming for about a decade before that, but these claims cannot be substantiated).  It was the brainchild of Michael DeAngelo, who treated the stories as labors of love. These were tales that wanted to be told, and DeAngelo was happy to oblige.

In 2014, Tellest grew by adding new writers and artists.  In September of 2016, eight more books were announced!  2017 introduced the first tie-in tabletop game into the mix, and in 2020, the first Tellest video game was brought into the world.  There’s more to come all the time.

This literary universe is happy to lend a hand to other storytellers, and is breaking new ground with hundreds of new fans every month.  With so many different tales of Tellest, and so much new content coming every day, the world is in your hands.
